Cream cheese peas and bacon deviled eggs recipe details
Hit three food groups in one easy appetizer. With these quick deviled eggs, you’ve got your dairy group (obviously), your vegetables from the peas, and bacon for protein.

Ingredients
Serves: 8- 8 eggs
- 1 (8 ounces) package cream cheese, softened
- 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/4 cup frozen peas, thawed
- 3 bacon strips, cooked and crumbled
Preparation method
Prep: 20 mins1. Place eggs in a saucepan, cover with cold water and bring to a boil over medium-high heat. When water boils, remove from heat and cover the saucepan. Let the eggs sit for 16 minutes, then drain and cool eggs in a bowl of ice water. Peel and halve lengthwise.
2. Scoop out yolks and place in a mixing bowl. Mash with a fork, then add cream cheese, mustard, salt, and pepper and blend with the fork; add peas and stir well to incorporate.
3. Spoon or pipe yolk mixture back into egg whites, garnish with bacon, and serve.
