Ingredients

1 tbsp	oil
1	onion
300 g	ground beef
500 g	sauerkraut
1	bay leave
1 l	broth
2 tbsp	hot pepper paste, (Biber Salcasi from a Turkish shop)
300 ml	cranberry juice
1 handful	cranberries, dried
	salt
20	black peppercorns
	black pepper, freshly ground
	caraway seeds
	sugar
250 g	pasta
some	sour cream

Instructions

Sauté chopped onion in oil, add meat and fry until crumbly.

Add sauerkraut and some broth, bay leaf, cumin and peppercorns. Stir in hot pepper paste, cranberries and cranberry juice. Cover pot and let it simmer for about 30 minutes.

Season well, and add sugar, then noodles, and enough broth that the noodles are just covered. Let it cook for about 8 minutes on low heat.

Place on plates and top with some sour cream.
