Ingredients
Makes: 20 bites- 20 uncooked jumbo shrimp, peeled, deveined, and butterflied
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup soft bread crumbs
- 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
- 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/8 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 (6 ounce) can lump crabmeat, drained
- 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon paprika
Preparation method
Prep: 15 mins | Cook: 10 mins1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
2. In a bowl, beat the egg lightly. Stir in the bread crumbs, mayonnaise, lemon juice, garlic powder, pepper, oregano, and cayenne; crumble crab meat into the bowl and toss to combine.
3. Place shrimp cut-side down on a 15×10-inch baking dish. Spoon about 1 tablespoon of crab mixture onto each shrimp, then distribute Parmesan and paprika over the top.
4. Bake for 10 minutes, until shrimp are pink and cooked through.
