Cookie bars recipe details
Ingredients
170 g | almonds, freshly blanched, chopped |
24 | almonds, freshly blanched for decoration |
50 g | flour |
50 g | sugar |
230 ml | vegetable oil |
4 | eggs |
½ tsp | baking powder |
1 tsp | vanilla |
¼ tsp | salt |
some | Amaretto |
Instructions
Sift together flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.Make a well in the center and add oil, eggs, and vanilla. Mix by hand. Then add chopped nuts, mix by hand.
Put in a greased pan (22 x 35 cm/9 x 13 inch), decorate with 24 almonds.
Bake at 170 C for 45 – 50 minutes.
When still warm sprinkle with some drops of “Amaretto” and cut into squares.
