Coconut ricotta cream pizza recipe details
Ingredients
6 tbsp | Frangelico or other sweet liqueur |
6 tbsp | dried coconut, finely grated |
3 g | ricotta cheese |
6 tbsp | sugar |
For the Milk Pizza Dough: | |
300 g | flour, plus 2 tbsp |
45 g | flour for working |
5 tbsp | unsalted butter, softened |
1 tsp | baking powder |
1 tsp | salt |
Instructions
In a small bowl, stir together the Fragelico and coconut and let stand at room temperature for 24 hours.Add the ricotta and sugar to the coconut mixture and stir vigorously until the consistency off thick cream.
Pizza Dough:
In a large bowl, combine the 300 g plus 2 tablespoons flour, milk, butter, baking powder and salt. Stir with a fork until a soft dough forms.
Shape into a ball, and let the dough rest 20 minutes. Lightly flour a work surface with the remaining flour.
Using a rolling pin, roll out the dough into a round 0.5 cm thick 30 cm in diameter. Lift up the edge off the pizza to form a rim.
Top with the coconut mixture and bake in a 225°C oven until the crust is golden, about 10 minutes.
