Coconut prawns recipe details
Ingredients
1 kg | prawns, peeled |
240 ml | olive oil |
180 g | coconut, shredded |
2 medium | eggs, beaten |
For the dipping sauce: | |
180 ml | mayonnaise |
2 tbsp | mango chutney |
3 tsp | curry powder |
Instructions
Toss peeled prawns in beaten egg, then dip into shredded coconut, making sure the prawns are completely covered.Deep fry in oil. Set aside.
Combine mayonnaise, chutney and curry powder in a bowl and serve as a dipping sauce with the prawns.
