Chili plum beef recipe details
Ingredients
750 g | beef fillet, sliced thinly |
150 ml | plum sauce |
1 tbsp | soy sauce |
1 clove(s) | garlic, minced |
1 tsp | red chili, chopped |
2 tsp | sugar |
2 tsp | dry sherry |
4 tsp | cornflour |
2 tbsp | oil |
120 ml | water |
1 | beef stock cube |
Instructions
Combine beef, sauces, garlic, ginger, chili, sugar, sherry and 2 teaspoons of cornflour in a large bowl. Mix well and marinate beef for 1 hour.Heat some oil in a wok, add beef and stir-fry for few minutes. Remove meat when cooked and repeat with remaining oil and beef.
Return beef to wok with marinade, blended water and extra cornflour and stock cube. Stir until mixture thickens.
