Chicken tetrazzini recipe details
The best tetrazzini you’ll ever make. Notes: I prefer the flat noodles Linguini or Fettuccini, but traditionally it’s made with Spaghetti.
Ready in: 1 hour 30 mins
Ingredients
Serves: 10- 9 ounces long noodles (spaghetti, linguini, or fettuccini)
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil or margarine
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 31/2 tablespoon butter
- 1/4 cup chopped red onion
- 1 ea can (15 ounce) peas or peas with carrots
- 2 ounces slivered almonds
- 6 ounces chicken broth
- 16 ounces your favorite cheese (use 1/2 pepper jack for extra spice) shredded or cubed
- 4 ounce Romano grated cheese
- 2 ea cans (10.75 ounce) Campbell’s(R) Condensed Cream of Mushroom Soup
- 4 cups cooked and cubed chicken or turkey
- 1/4 cup diced red bell pepper
- 3/4 cups bread crumbs
Preparation method
Prep: 30 mins | Cook: 1 min | Extra time: 59 mins1. Cook noodles according to package directions, adding Vegetable Oil or Margarine to water before the noodles. Drain. (This takes a while so you can start prepping the rest while this is cooking).

6. Start pre-heating the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
7. Cook and stir until Cheese melts and mixture is smooth. Add peas and mix.
8. Add noodles and chicken. Mix well. Transfer to 13×9 inches baking dish. (It will completely fill the dish). Sprinkle with Bread Crumb Mixture from above.
9. Bake at 350 F for 30 minutes or until hot and bubbly and the top is golden.Cook’s notes:
• Chicken: Turkey, Ham, Tuna, Shrimp & Crabmeat, any Smoked Meat. • Chicken Broth: Vegetable Broth, Sherry or White Wine (add extra salt if using wine). Other Ideas: • Sliced Mushrooms, Egg Noodles, Red or Cayenne Pepper if doing seafood, Heavy Cream (may need flour for thickening).
