Chicken in creamy white wine sauce recipe details
Ingredients
4 | chicken thighs |
poultry seasoning, see database | |
2 tbsp | olive oil |
4 clove(s) | garlic, minced |
240 ml | dry white wine |
180 ml | chicken or vegetable broth |
double cream |
Instructions
Sprinkle and rub on poultry seasoning on chicken thighs.Heat oil over medium high heat in a large frying pan.
Cook chicken until golden brown, about 5 minutes. Remove chicken from pan and set aside.
Sauté garlic until soft and lightly browned. Add cream and stir to combine. Add wine and simmer until liquid reduces about 1/2. Add chicken broth and place chicken back in pan. Liquid should not cover chicken.
Simmer partly covered until chicken is done, 35-40 minutes.
