Ingredients
Serves: 4- 1 tablespoon dark chili powder
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
- 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin
- 4 (8 ounce) flat iron steaks
- Canola oil
Preparation method
Prep: 15 mins | Cook: 10 mins1. Mix chili powder, cayenne pepper, garlic salt, parsley, brown sugar, and cumin in a small bowl. Season steaks liberally on both sides and rub with oil to keep spices on the steak.
2. Place a large skillet over medium heat. Cook the steaks until the internal temperature reaches 135 degrees to 140 degrees F (60 degrees C), about 5 minutes per side.
