Chicken breasts with creamy wine sauce recipe details
Ingredients
2 | chicken breasts, cut into pieces |
olive oil for frying | |
4 tbsp | Parmesan cheese |
4 clove(s) | garlic, minced |
200 g | mushrooms, sliced |
250 g | broccoli florets, chopped |
240 ml | double cream |
1 tbsp | cornstarch |
60 ml | water |
240 ml | dry white wine |
1 tsp | white pepper |
Instructions
Combine chicken and garlic in a skillet and cook over medium heat, turning to brown from all sides. Add broccoli and mushrooms and cook until chicken is done and vegetables are cooked through.In a saucepan, heat cream over low heat and bring to a simmer. Add cheese, wine and white pepper. Stir until cheese has melted.
Dissolve cornstarch in water. Pour in cream into the cornstarch mixture and whisk until desired thickness is obtained. Cook for 10 minutes.
Add sauce to chicken and vegetables in the skillet and heat through. Serve over rice.
