Chicken balmoral recipe details
Ingredients
2 | chicken breast fillets |
100 g | haggis |
6 | bacon rashers |
1 tbsp | butter, melted |
salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste |
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 200°C.With a sharp knife cut a pocket into each chicken breast along the length. Shape the haggis to two rolls and tuck these into the pockets. Wrap each chicken breast in 3 rashers of bacon. Brush with melted butter and season generously with pepper and sparingly with salt.
Wrap in aluminium foil and bake the parcels for 10 minutes, then open the foil and bake for another 20 minutes.
Serve with fried potatoes and vegetables, e.g. mushy peas (s. our recipe in the database).
