Chicken and pork adobo bichol style recipe details
This is Bichol-style adobo that tastes like heaven. If you like, eat this with rice. It is the Filipino way of doing things and, if you really want to spice it up, add some dried red pepper flakes. Please enjoy!

Ingredients
Serves: 4- 4 cups water
- 8 chicken pieces
- 6 ounces boneless pork
- 1 cup apple cider vinegar
- 3/4 cup soy sauce, or to taste
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 2 bay leaves
- 1/4 cup red wine
- 2 small green peppers, chopped
- 2 habanero peppers, chopped
- 1/2 tablespoon of black pepper
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 1 tablespoon garlic salt
Preparation method
Prep: 10 mins | Cook: 45 mins1. Add water to large pot and turn heat to High. Add chicken to water and wait about 15 minutes or poke fork into chicken to feel if it goes in easy. Chop pork into cubes and add it to the boiling water with the chicken and wait until pork turns white; drain water.
2. Put pot back on burner with the chicken and pork in it and turn heat to medium. Add the vinegar, soy sauce, and garlic and stir. After 5 minutes, add bay leaves, red wine, peppers, black pepper, olive oil, and garlic salt. If not salty enough add more soy sauce and wait 10 minutes with pot covered, stirring occasionally, to let the flavors mix. After flavors have mixed eat and enjoy.
