Ingredients
1 kg | cherries, washed, pitted, cut into halves |
1 kg | gelling sugar |
juice of one lemon |
Instructions
Purée the cherry pieces until smooth. Add gelling sugar and blend for further 10 seconds.
Place puréed fruit in a pot and bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Cook for three minutes and add lemon juice. Stir.
Remove from heat and fill the hot jam into well cleaned jars and close tightly.
