Cherry and Pecan Cream Cheese Spread recipe

Ingredients
150 g | sour cherries, dried |
240 ml | water |
250 g | cream cheese, softenend |
60 g | toasted pecans, chopped |
1 tbsp | fresh lime juice |
½ tsp | fresh tyme leaves |
¼ tsp | lime zest, grated |
salt and fresh ground pepper to taste | |
scones or crackers |
Instructions
Put cherries and water n a small saucepan and let simmer until liquid is reduced to about 1 tablespoon. Remove pan from heat and leave mixture to cool.
In another bowl whisk together cream cheese, pecans, lime juice, thyme, grated lime zest, cherry mixture. Mix to combine well. Season with and salt and pepper.
Serve spread with scenes or crackers.
