Cherry and Pecan Cream Cheese Spread recipe

Ingredients

150 g sour cherries, dried
240 ml water
250 g cream cheese, softenend
60 g toasted pecans, chopped
1 tbsp fresh lime juice
½ tsp fresh tyme leaves
¼ tsp lime zest, grated
salt and fresh ground pepper to taste
scones or crackers

Instructions

Put cherries and water n a small saucepan and let simmer until liquid is reduced to about 1 tablespoon. Remove pan from heat and leave mixture to cool.

In another bowl whisk together cream cheese, pecans, lime juice, thyme, grated lime zest, cherry mixture. Mix to combine well. Season with and salt and pepper.

Serve spread with scenes or crackers.
