Ingredients
Serves: 6- 1 16 oz. box uncooked spiral pasta
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 3 tablespoons flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon prepared mustard
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 2 cups milk
- 1 1/2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
- 2 cups cooked turkey in bite-sized pieces
- 2 cups frozen mixed vegetables, thawed
Preparation method
Prep: 20 mins | Cook: 35 mins1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F and coat a 13×9-inch baking dish.
2. Bring a large pot of salted water to boil. Cook pasta in boiling water until al dente, about 8 minutes. Drain.
3. Melt butter in a saucepan placed over medium heat. Cook garlic in melted butter for about 1 minute then add flour, salt, mustard, pepper, and milk. When milk boils, simmer for 2 minutes to thicken.
4. Stir in cheese, turkey, and vegetables. Toss with pasta and pour into prepared baking dish.
5. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes until bubbly.
