Cedar wood paper prawn kebabs recipe details
Ingredients
4 | Kebab skewers |
0.15 kg | prawns |
handful | cherry tomatoes |
handful | mushrooms, cubed |
1 medium | onion, cubed |
medium | peppers, cubed |
1 pack(s) | Cedar Wood Paper |
sprig(s) | fresh dill |
dash(es) | olive oil |
chilli, optional | |
2 tbsp | lemon or lime juice |
2 shot(s) | dry white wine |
Instructions
Preheat oven to 150°C/gas mark 4/5/350/375°F.Soak the Cedar Wood Paper in water with the wine for an hour.
Marinade the prawns for at least one hour in the olive oil, lemon/lime juice, finely chopped fresh dill and chilli.
Cube the mushrooms, onion and peppers. Then start putting the ingredients onto the skewers in any order: prawn, cherry tomatoe, pepper, onion etc.
Season with salt and pepper and roll one sheet of Cedar Wood Paper around each skewer tying it with cooking string.
Place into a preheated oven for 10 minutes. Serve the Cedar Wood Wrapped Prawn kebab directly onto the plate.
By using the Cedar Wood Wraps the food is kept moist, juicy and tender as well as infused with the flavour of the Cedar which adds an extra sweet spicy tang.
