Carrot souffle recipe details
Ingredients
1 kg | carrots, peeled, sliced |
100 g | butter |
2 medium | eggs, beaten |
3 tbsp | flour |
1 tsp | baking powder |
100 g | granulated sugar |
⅛ tsp | cinnamon, ground |
Instructions
Cook carrots in boiling salted water until tender. Drain well and mash with a fork or process in a blender.Preheat oven to 200°C.
Combine mashed carrots with remaining ingredients and pour into a buttered soufflé dish/muffin dish. Bake for 15 minutes, reduce heat to 150°C and bake for further 45 minutes.
