An easy vegetarian pizza that will fill your home with the amazing smell of caramelizing onion.

Ingredients
Serves: 15- 3 large sweet onions, thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon Marsala wine
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 (13.8 ounce) tube refrigerated pizza crust
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/4 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
Preparation method
Prep: 15 mins | Cook: 35 mins1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F and coat a baking sheet with nonstick cooking spray.
2. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Put onions in skillet, give a quick stir, then add brown sugar, wine, salt, and pepper. Cook in melted butter for about 20 minutes to caramelize the onions.
3. Unroll the pizza dough onto the prepared baking sheet and press out to measure about 13×10 inches. Coat with olive oil, then pour the onions onto the dough and spread out. Sprinkle with Parmesan.
4. Bake for about 15 minutes, until crust is golden-brown. Slice and serve.
