Ingredients
8 | tomatoes |
1 | fresh ‘Mozzarella di bufala’ cheese |
10 | caper berries |
½ bunch(es) | fresh basil |
4 tbsp | olive oil |
sea salt and black pepper | |
2 tbsp | basil and olive pesto (see my recipe in the database) |
Instructions
Halve the tomatoes, cut in slices and arrange on a serving plate. Halve the Mozzarella balls and slice the cheese as thin as the tomatoes. Slide the Mozzarella in between the tomato slices. Sprinkle with the chopped basil leaves. Season with pepper and salt. Drizzle olive oil over the dish and sprinkle evenly with the basil and olive pesto.
Decorate with caper berries and serve.
