Ingredients
1 package lady fingers or trifle sponges
1 package (large) Jellogelatin, strawberry or whichever flavor you prefer
Frozen or fresh strawberries (or any type of fresh fruit)
Strawberry jam (or any flavor jam)
4 Tablespoons Bird’sCustard Powder
3 Tablespoons sugar
2-1/2 cups milk
Whipping cream
Decoration:
Cherries, etc.
Rum (if requested)
Tia Maria (if requested)
Instructions:

Split lady fingers in half and spread with jam. Put in bottom of large bowl; sprinkle (or drown) with liquor of your choice. Top with fruit and then pour in cooled gelatin to cover sponge and fruit; leave to set.

When set, make up custard and leave to cool covered with wax paper. When cooled, pour on top of gelatin and cover with wax paper again and leave to set.

Whip cream (add Tia Maria if you want) and spread on top of custard and decorate. Enjoy!
