Candy Girl Cake recipe

Ingredients
250 g | digestive biscuits |
100 g | walnut pieces |
100 g | dried cranberries |
300 g | cooking chocolate |
100 g | butter |
150 g | golden syrup |
Instructions
Line a shallow 20x20cm dish with greaseproof paper. Place biscuits in a bag and break them up with a rolling pin. Put the crushed biscuits, walnut pieces and cranberries in a bowl and set aside.
Put the chocolate, butter & golden syrup in a heavy-based pan. Place pan on the hob and stir over the lowest possible heat until it has melted (do not overheat the mixture).
Remove the melted mixture from the heat and add the biscuits, walnuts & cranberries. Stir well.
Place in the prepared dish and press down well. Chill in the fridge for 2 hours.
