Cabbage cauliflower salad recipe details
Ingredients
1 head(s) | cabbage, shredded |
1 head(s) | cauliflower, cut into small florets |
1 medium | onion, chopped |
500 g | bacon, fried, crumbled |
For the dressin: | |
400 g | mayonnaise |
100 g | Parmesan cheese |
salt and pepper, to taste |
Instructions
Cook cauliflower and cabbage until tender. Sauté the onion until soft and and fry the bacon until crisp. Cool.Combine cauliflower, onion, bacon and cabbage in a bowl.
Prepare dressing and pour over cabbage and cauliflower mix. Toss well.
Leave to marinate for about 1 hour.
Tip:Omit the bacon to create a vegetarian version.
