Butterfly sauce recipe details
Ingredients
150 g | sugar |
150 ml | vinegar |
150 ml | tomato sauce |
1 tbsp | chili sauce |
pineapple, finely diced, to taste | |
1 tbsp | coriander leaves, chopped |
3 tbsp | cornstarch |
soy sauce, to taste |
Instructions
In a saucepan, add the sugar to the vinegar and cook stirring until the sugar has dissolved. One after the other add the tomato sauce, chili sauce, pineapples, coriander and cornstarch. Simmer until the sauce thickens and looks glossy. Season to taste with soy sauce.Serve with wontons or spring rolls.
