Butter crunch french toast recipe details
- Ingredients
- 3 cups butter-crunch ice cream
- 5 eggs
- 3 Tablespoons Bailey’sIrish Cream
- Ten 1-inch slices French bread
- Sauce:
- 1/2 cup margarine
- 3/4 cup confectioner’s sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup Bailey’s Irish Cream
Melt ice cream in dish in microwave; add eggs and Irish Cream and blend well. Dip bread into mixture. Using an electric skillet at 300 degrees, fry the bread in a little oil until golden brown.
Sauce: Melt the margarine, stir in the powdered sugar, and remove from heat. Whisk in the eggs and Irish Cream. Pour sauce over toast and serve with powdered sugar and syrup.
