Burger stroganoff recipe details
- Ingredients
- 1/2 cup minced onion
- 1/4 cup oleo
- 1 pound hamburger
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 pound mushrooms, sliced
- 2 Tablespoons flour
- 1 package sour cream
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
Preheat frying pan to 340 degrees. Cook onion in hot butter about 3 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add beef, garlic, salt, pepper, and mushrooms. Cook, stirring with a fork, until meat is broken up and has lost its red color. Sprinkle flour over beef and cook for 2 minutes, stirring constantly. Lower heat to simmer. Add sour cream and soup; heat thoroughly, but do not boil. Serve over hot cooked noodles, rice, or mashed potatoes.
