Broccoli with nut and cheese crumbles recipe details
Ingredients
1 kg | broccoli |
salt and pepper | |
1 tbsp | butter for the casserole dish |
4 tbsp | soft butter |
ground nutmeg | |
4 tbsp | hazelnuts, ground |
4 tbsp | hazelnuts, chopped |
2 tbsp | breadcrumbs |
8 tbsp | grated cheese |
Instructions
Wash the broccoli and divide in florets. Slice the stalks.In a saucepan, bring some salted water to a boil. Add the broccoli stalks, cover and cook for 4 minutes. Add the broccoli florets, cover and cook for 4 more minutes.
Preheat the oven to 225°C.
In a bowl, mix together 4 tablespoons of soft butter, hazelnuts, breadcrumbs and cheese. Season with pepper and nutmeg. Crumble the mixture with your fingertips.
Drain the broccoli and transfer in a buttered casserole. Season with salt. Cover with the nut and cheese crumbles and bake for 20 minutes.
