- 2 Tablespoons warm water
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 Tablespoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup shortening
- 2 cups buttermilk
