Ingredients
800 g | goat meat |
1 | onion, chopped |
1 clove(s) | garlic, finely sliced |
400 g | bell peppers, red, green and yellow, chopped |
1 cup(s) | sweet chili sauce |
salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste |
Instructions
Cut as much of the meat from the skin and bone as you are able. Wash in clean water and put the meat in a large pot, half fill with water and bring to the boil. Skim off any residue and simmer for 30 minutes in the water. Part way through add some salt and spices to your choice. At the end of the cooking time, remove the boiled goat with a slotted spoon and place in a second pot. Run the cooking liquid through a fine sieve and put aside.
Add the chopped vegetables to the second pot and just cover with some of the sieved broth. Add the cup of sweet chili sauce and simmer for another 30 minutes.
Serve with Pasta, rice or potatoes. Apparently it tastes better than it sounds.
