Blender hollandaise recipe details
- Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup butter or margarine
- 3 egg yolks
- 2 Tablespoons lemon juice
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- Few grains of cayenne pepper (added last)
We make this sauce and pour it over our Eggs Benedict.
Melt butter in saucepan. Place egg yolks, lemon juice, and salt in blender and blend at low speed for a few seconds, just long enough to mix until smooth. Pour in the hot melted butter slowly. Blend a few seconds longer until the sauce is smooth. Add the cayenne pepper and pour over the eggs.
