Berry sweet coffee cake recipe details
- 1 package yeast
- 3 Tablespoons sugar
- 3 cups bread flour
- 3/4 cups milk
- 1/4 cup water
- 2 eggs
- 4 Tablespoons melted butter, cooled
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1-1/2 teaspoons salt
- 2 cups fresh raspberries or blackberries
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup cold butter
- 1/8 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup confectioners’ sugar
- 3 to 4 teaspoons milk
Put first 9 ingredients into bread machine in the order listed. Select white bread-manual setting. Pour prepared dough into lightly greased 12-inch pizza pan. The dough will be fairly soft. Bake at 350 degrees for 5 minutes. Sprinkle with berries. Combine flour and sugar; cut in butter and vanilla until crumbly. Sprinkle over berries. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes or until golden brown. Cool. Combine glaze ingredients and drizzle over coffee cake.
