Benjamin packard house granola recipe details
- Ingredients:
- 3 cups old-fashioned oats
- 1/2 cup desiccated coconut
- 1/2 cup sunflower seeds
- 1/2 cup whole almonds
- 1/4 cup sesame seeds
- 1/4 cup butter or canola oil
- 6 Tablespoons honey
- 1 cup mixed dried fruit (optional)
Preheat oven to 325 degrees. In large bowl, stir together dry ingredients. Over low heat, bring butter and honey to light boil. Pour butter mixture over dry mixture and blend. Spread mixture in large jelly roll pan and bake until light golden (approximately 20 minutes), stirring often.
Note: Any kind of nuts/seeds can replace the ones I use. I also like sesame seeds sprinkled over top of granola before baking.
