Ingredients

240 ml beer
60 g butter
100 g flour
4 medium eggs
½ tsp salt
filling of your choice

Instructions

Preheat oven to 200°C. Line baking sheets with parchment paper.

Combine beer and butter in a large saucepan and heat until boiling point. Reduce heat and add flour and salt. Stir constantly until the mixure forms a ball. Remove from heat and let rest for 1 minute. Add eggs, one at a time, beating each one.

Drop dough in 2 cm rounds onto prepared baking sheets.

Bake for 10 minutes. Reduce oven heat to 150°C and bake beer puffs an additional 10 minutes until brown and dry. Turn off oven, open the oven door, and let puffs dry until cool.

Split beer puffs and fill with your choice of fillings: salads, vegetables, cheese mixes, mousse etc.
