A spicy marinade that works well with wild game or other tough meat. Inspired by Ben Sullivan’s “Beer Marinated Deer, Elk, or Moose Steak.”
Ready in: 5 mins

Ingredients

Makes: 2 cups
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 (12-ounce) bottle honey brown or dark beer
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon hot sauce, or more to taste
  • 1 tablespoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon salt

Preparation method

Prep: 5 mins

1. Mix all ingredients in a bowl and use to marinate meats or vegetables before grilling.Note

Recipe makes about 2 cups of marinade, enough for 4 pounds of steak.
