Instructions
Melt butter. Sauté onions in butter. Add flour and a little chicken broth to make a thick paste. Continue to gradually add broth, stirring constantly. Add cream and mix until smooth.Add cheese and mix until all smooth and melted. Add beer, Worcestershire sauce, and chives.
Simmer for 15 minutes, stirring constantly.
