Beer batter cod fish fillets recipe details
Ingredients1. Cod fillets (2 pounds)
2. eggs (2)
3. milk (1/2c)
4. beer (3/4c)
5. dried dill weed (1/2tsp)
6. baking powder (1tsp)
7. salt (1tsp)
8. all purpose flour (1c)
9. vegetable oil (for frying)
Method of preparation
1. Take a large bowl; add flour, baking powder, salt and dill in it. Mix them well and then add milk, beer and egg in it and again mix it well.
2. Take fish fillets; dip them in batter for about 15 minutes to coat them properly. Heat a deep frying pan, heat oil in it to 190 degrees C or 375 degrees F.
3. Now put the batter coated fish fillets in hot oil and fry them until they get golden brown color. Now take out the fish fillets from oil and drain them on paper towels. Now beer batter fish is ready to serve. Serve it hot with sauce.
