Beef stuffing recipe details
Ingredients
1 loaf(s) | white bread, diced |
1 kg | minced beef or turkey |
1 medium | onion, chopped |
2 stalk(s) | celery, chopped |
1 medium | egg |
500 ml | milk |
sage, dried, to taste | |
salt and pepper, to taste |
Instructions
Heat oven to 180°C.Place meat in a large skillet and cook until browned. Add celery and onion and sauté until soft.
Mix together meat, celery, onion and bread in a bowl. Add egg and milk and mix until bread is moist.
Season with sage, salt and pepper.
As a side dish, place mixture in casserole dish and bake until top is browned, about 45-50 minutes.
As stuffing, cook inside of turkey.
