Beef steak in mushroom sauce recipe details
Ingredients
1 | beef steak |
1 tbsp | oil |
salt and freshly ground black pepper | |
250 g | mushrooms, sliced |
1 | shallot, chopped |
1 tbsp | green peppercorns, pickled |
3 tbsp | single cream |
Instructions
Fry the steak in oil for 3-4 minutes on each side. Season with salt and pepper. Take out of the pan and wrap the steak in aluminium foil.Fry the shallot and the mushrooms in the pan for 5 minutes. Stir in the peppercorns and season with salt. Add the cream and bring to a boil. Serve the steak with the mushroom sauce.
