Ingredients
500 g | minced beef |
1 medium | onion, chopped |
1 tsp | dried basil |
1 tbsp | dried oregano |
500 g | canned tomatoes |
salt and pepper, to taste | |
Parmesan cheese, grated |
Instructions
In a large saucepan, combine the beef, onion, basil and oregano. Cook, stirring to break up meat, until browned, about 5 minutes.
Add tomato sauce and bring to a boil, stirring frequently. Cover, reduce heat to low, and cook, stirring frequently, about 10 minutes.
Season with pepper to taste and serve sprinkled with cheese.
