Broccoli and bacon quiche recipe details
Ingredients
600 g | broccoli, in small florets |
300 g | onions, chopped |
salt and pepper | |
110 ml | oil |
200 g | bacon, diced |
250 g | curd cheese |
100 ml | milk |
500 g | flour |
1 pack(s) | baking powder |
400 g | sour cream |
6 medium | eggs |
3 sprig(s) | thyme, chopped |
½ bunch(es) | parsley, chopped |

100 g | freshly grated Cheddar cheese |
Instructions
Cook the broccoli florets in salted water for 3 minutes. Drain. In a pan heat 1 tablespoon of oil. Fry the bacon until golden and crispy. Stir in the onions and sauté until lucent. Set aside.Mix the curd cheese with milk, the remaining oil, a good pinch of salt, the flour and baking powder. Knead until a smooth and pliable dough has formed. Line a greased baking tray with the dough. Spread the broccoli and bacon on the dough. Whisk the cream with eggs, thyme and parsley. Season with salt, pepper and nutmeg. Evenly pour the mixture over the cake.
Sprinkle with the cheese and bake in the preheated oven at 180°C for 30 minutes.
