Beef and chicken sat recipe details
Ingredients
3 | shallots, chopped |
1 piece(s) | ginger, grated |
1 | lime, juice and grated peel |
400 ml | coconut milk |
5 tbsp | soy sauce |
400 g | chicken breast fillet, cut into 2cm cubes |
350 g | beef sirloin steak, cut into 2cm cubes |
2 | red chili peppers, chopped |
130 g | peanuts, toasted and freshly chopped |
3 clove(s) | garlic, minced |
1 tbsp | sugar |
salt and pepper | |
2 tbsp | oil |
Instructions
In a saucepan combine the coconut milk with the garlic, ginger, shallots, lime juice and lime zest, soy sauce and the sugar. Bring to a boil. Take from the heat and allow to cool.Thread in turn the meat onto skewers. Turn the skewers in the marinade and allow to soak for 30 minutes.
Heat the remaining oil in a pan and fry the skewers for a few minutes all around. Season with pepper, take out of the pan and keep them warm.
Combine the marinade with the peanuts and the chili peppers and purée the mixture with a hand blender. Pour into the pan and cook for some minutes. Serve with the skewers.
