Instructions
Preparing the tofu:Wrap the tofu in clean, absorbent kitchen towel and set something heavy on top. Set aside until you are ready to slice it
Barbecue sauce:
Combine all the sauce ingredients. Mix well.
Barbecued Tofu:
Line a broiler pan with aluminium foil. Set aside. Preheat grill/broiler.
Cut the tofu block crosswise into 9 slices,about 1 cm thick. Dip the slices into the sauce to coat both sides. Arrange the slices on the broiler pan.
Broil the tofu, 4 to 6 minutes. Turn the tofu over and broil until deeply browned on the second side, 4 to 6 more minutes.
