Banana pineapple and mango in jelly dessert recipe details
Ingredients
4 | bananas, peeled, sliced |
2 slice(s) | pineapple, cut into cubes |
1 small | mango, cut into cubes |
400 ml | water |
5 tbsp | rice vinegar |
2 tbsp | lime juice |
4 tbsp | sugar |
15 g | powdered gelatin |
Instructions
Place banana slices in a bowl and toss immediately with the lemon juice to prevent browning.Bring 200 ml water to the boil in a small saucepan, add the sugar and stir to dissolve. Add powdered gelatin and stir to dissolve. Add the remaining water and the rice vinegar; mix well.
Pour 1/3 of the liquid mixture into a mould and place it in the refrigerator to set.
Remove from fridge when set and arrange the pineapple and mango cubes on top. Pour another 1/3 of the liquid mixture over the fruit and return to the refrigerator to set.
When set remove from the fridge and repeat the same with the bananas and the remaining liquid.
Refrigerate for at least two hours before unmoulding and slicing.
