Banana bread recipe details
Ingredients
2 g | egg(s) |
200 g | flour, sifted |
2 tsp | baking powder |
¼ tsp | baking soda |
½ g | salt |
40 g | vegetable shortening |
225 ml | bananas, mashed |
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350 °F, 180° C.Beat eggs well in a small bowl and then using a medium-size bowl, sift together flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
Using a large bowl, beat the vegetable shortening until it is creamy. Add sugar and continue beating until the mixture is fluffy. Then add eggs into the large bowl and continue beating well.
Now add some of the flour mixture into the large bowl and beat well. Add some of the mashed bananas and keep beating well. Continue adding flour, bananas, flour, bananas..etc until everything is mixed into one bowl.
Pour mixture into the baking pan and bake for about 70 minutes.
