Ingredients
For the dough: | |
3 | bananas |
125 g | butter |
100 g | dark chocolate, |
100 g | flour |
3 tsp | baking powder |
300 g | sugar |
1 pinch(es) | salt |
4 | eggs |
100 ml | milk |
75 g | walnuts, chopped |
To garnish: | |
1 tbsp | cocoa powder |
2 | bananas |
walnut halves |
Instructions
Finely mash the bananas with a fork. Melt the butter, then allow to cool. Chop the chocolate. Combine the flour with the baking powder and sieve into a bowl. Mix with salt and sugar. Add the eggs, puréed bananas, butter and milk. Seal the bowl with a lid and strongly shake the bowl until the ingredients are well combined. Stir in the chocolate and the walnuts.Preheat the oven to 180°C.
Place a cake frame (18*30 cm) on a greased baking tray. Fill the dough into the frame and flatten. Bake for 30-35 minutes.
Transfer the baking tray on a wire rack and leave to stand, until the cake is cold. Afterwards, remove the frame.
Cut the bananas into slices. Cut the cake into 12 pieces and dust with cocoa powder. Garnish the cake with bananas and walnut halves.
