Balsamic cream sauce recipe details
Ingredients
2 tbsp | olive oil |
2 tbsp | butter |
1 small | onion, minced |
4 tbsp | balsamic vinegar |
30 ml | chicken or vegetable broth |
240 ml | double cream |
50 g | Parmesan cheese, grated |
Instructions
Heat oil and butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Add onion, and cook, whilst stirring for about 15 minutes.Stir in the balsamic vinegar, broth and cream. Bring to a simmer and cook for 2 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in the cheese until melted.
