Ballistik's zesty grilled tuna melt recipe details
Spicy grilled tuna sandwiches on rye bread. Gives a regular, boring lunchtime a good kick in the pants. Great with potato chips, French fries or soup.
My old recipe simplified and toned-down.

Ingredients
Makes: 2 Sandwiches- 1 – 5 oz can StarKist(R) Chunk Light or Albacore Tuna
- 1 tsp Horseradish Mustard
- 2 cup tsp French’s mild yellow Mustard
- 1 splash Louisiana(R) Hot Sauce
- 1 dash Garlic Pepper
- 4 slices Pepperjack cheese
- 4 slices Rye bread
- 6 tsp Country Crock(R) margarine
- 2 Vlasic(R) Zesty garlic Sandwich Stacker Pickle slices
Preparation method
Prep: 5 mins | Cook: 12 mins1. Mix tuna, horseradish mustard, yellow mustard, and garlic pepper in mixing bowl
2. Drop a small pat or two of butter in the skillet
3. Start heating up margarine on skillet with medium -high heat and melt to coat pan surface slightly
4. Spread margarine on both sides of all bread slices
5. Place a slice of pepperjack cheese on each buttered slice of bread
6. Place tuna mix between bread and cheese slices and close into sandwiches
7. Turn heat down to medium, cook five minutes or so each side
8. Top each sandwich with sandwich stacker pickle slice, tacked down with toothpick if desired
