Bacon wrapped stuffed prawn recipe details
Ingredients
| 12 | big raw prawns, peeled and deveined |
| 100 g | mozzarella, cut into 12 thin slices |
| 1 tsp | black pepper, freshly ground |
| 12 slice(s) | bacon |
| 200 g | sour cream |
| ½ tsp | salt |
| ½ tsp | pepper |
| ½ | lemon, juice |
| oil |
Instructions
With a sharp knife, slit the back of the prawns. Season the mozzarella slices with pepper and stuff the mozzarella into the back of the prawns. Wrap each prawn with a slice of bacon. Brush the bacon with a drop of oil.Preheat the oven to 230°C. Grill or bake the prawns for 7-10 minutes until the bacon is golden and crispy.
In the meantime season the sour cream to taste with salt, pepper and lemon juice. Serve the prawns with the dip.
