Autumnal fruit strudel recipe details
Ingredients
2 | apples, peeled and grated |
1 ½ tbsp | walnuts, chopped |
3 tbsp | dates, pitted and chopped |
1 ½ tbsp | maple syrup |
½ | lime, juiced |
1 sheet(s) | puff pastry |
35 g | butter, melted |
3 tbsp | double cream |
some | icing sugar |
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 200°C.In a bowl, mix together the apples, nuts and dates with maple syrup and lime juice.
Place the pastry sheet onto a baking tray, lined with baking paper. Spoon the apple mixture close to the bottom of the pastry sheet. Brush the edges of the pastry with butter.
Fold the pastry over the filling. Roll up and sprinkle with some icing sugar. Bake for 8-12 minutes until golden and crispy.
Serve with double cream.
