Autumn fruit jelly recipe details
Ingredients
2 | apples, peeled, cored and sliced |
1 | pear, peeled, cored and sliced |
1 dash(es) | lemon juice |
1 handful | plums, pitted and chopped |
1 handful | grapes, halved and seeds removed |
400 ml | apple juice |
3 tsp | cornflour |
1 tbsp | sugar, or more |
Instructions
Drizzle apples and pears with lemon juice to avoid them getting brownish.Combine the cornstarch in a small bowl with a little apple juice and stir until smooth. Bring the fruits with the remaining apple juice and the sugar to a boil, add the starch mixture and cook for about 3 minutes until thickened. Let cool, stirring frequently.
Spoon onto dessert plates and serve with vanilla sauce, vanilla ice cream, waffles or pancakes.
